The cover is mounted on the profile, thanks to which it covers the rim, which in the case of recessed installation allows for an aesthetic and uniform line flush with the mounting surface. In addition, the cover covering the edges of the profile is helpful in masking the connection of shorter sections of the profiles, creating longer lines - e.g. a line made of 3 1m profiles can be covered with one 3m cover.
